
John served 42 years in the US Army. He has been a member of the American Legion for 23 yrs. As Post Commander, his duties include presiding over all meetings and has general supervision over the business and affairs of the post. He approves all disbursement of funds and makes an annual report covering the business of the post and recommendations for the ensuing year including a budget prepared by a finance committee. He performs such other duties as “directed by the post”.

1st Vice -
.As first Vice-Commander, he/she shall assume and discharge the duties of the office of Commander in the absence or disability of, or when called upon by the Post Commander. Membership shall be the primary concern of this office.

Rich has served in the US Coast Guard for 11 years. The second Vice-Commander assists the Commander in all duties. The primary concern is entertainment and all fundraising programs of the post.
3rd Vice

As Service Officer he assists all members, veterans and dependents to obtain all rights and benefits granted to them by law in accordance with the Service Officer’s manual prepared by the National Veterans Affairs and Rehabilitation Division. He must also be familiar with the equipment useful to disabled Veterans stored onsite and control the distribution as necessary.

As the Finance Officer she is in charge of all Legion finances, with the exception of some post programs, and that they are safely deposited in a local bank or banks. She reports once a month to the Executive Committee the condition of the Post finances. She also furnishes surety bonds in such sum as shall be fixed by the Post Executive Committee.

Keith served 20 years in the US Army . He has been a member of the American Legion for 4 yrs . Coordinates and participates in services for funerals, retirement ceremonies, and military functions. Conducts rehearsals to maintain the highest state of proficiency and deliver the most solemn and professional service; maintains drill capability of the command; files After Action Reports; responsible for the maintenance and accountability of all assigned equipment .

Turtle has served 34 years in the US Air Force Special Operations. He has been a member of The American Legion for 46 yrs. As Post Chaplain, he is charged with the spiritual welfare of the Post comrades and will offer divine but nonsectarian services in the event of dedications, funerals, public functions, etc. and adhere to such ceremonial rituals as are recommended by the National or Department headquarters.

The Judge Advocate shall interpret the Constitution and By-Laws of this post and be prepared to rule on the legality of actions of this membership as to parliamentary procedure according to Robert's Rule of Order. He is also responsible for auditing the Post Financial Accounts. This shall be done annually just prior to installation of officers, and he shall be the chairperson of the Constitution and By-Laws Committee.

Rebecca has served 22 years the US Army . She has been a member of the American Legion for 17 years. As Sgt-at Arms , she shall preserve order at all meetings and shall perform such other duties as may be, from time to time , assigned to her by the post Executive Committee.

As PR Officer , she promotes public support of the Legion's programs through publicity of Post programs and activities in local newspapers and / or TV , Radio and Internet . He also works with the Third-Vice Commander in keeping the membership informed on Legion programs.

The Adjutant is in charge of and keeps a full and correct record of all meetings . He keeps such records as the Department and National organizations may require. He shall render reports of membership annually. He handles all correspondence of the Post under the direction of the Post Commander.

Rich has served in the US Coast Guard for 11 years. As Chairman of the House and Grounds Committee he shall have charge of all matters pertaining to the care of the post quarters. The post security systems, Alarm reports and Videos will be reviewed as appropriate. In the Event of necessary repair or replacement of Post equipment or parts that are beyond their capabilities, contractors will be interviewed and recommended to the E-Board
